The Nature Conservancy: Worldwide conservation leader is active in Connecticut and has been a partner in our preservation efforts.
 
Meshomasic Hiking Club: Based in Cobalt, this membership group is an active hikers’ club.
 
CT Forests and Parks Association: Founded in 1895, it’s the oldest nonprofit environmental group in Connecticut. It advocates for parks and maintains the 800-plus-mile Blue Blaze Trail system.
 
Meriden Land Trust: Manages three properties in Meriden and advocates for preservation.
 
Land Trust Alliance: A national strategist and representative of more than 1,600 land trusts across America. The alliance promotes voluntary private land conservation to benefit communities and natural systems.
 
Berlin Land Trust: the Berlin Land Trust oversees over 140 acres of open space properties in Berlin and adjacent towns. The BLT owns nine parcels of land, totaling over 78 acres and also has conservation easements two additional parcels totaling 58 acres.
 
The Wilderness Society: Protecting America's wilderness since 1935 through the potent combination of science, advocacy and education.
 
Connecticut’s Changing Landscape: The “land cover” portion of Connecticut’s Changing Landscape provides basic information about the growth of developed land during the period 1985 to 2002.
