We welcome volunteers who would be willing to commit themselves for a few hours per month. No experience is needed other than a love of open space and a willingness to work with others to preserve it. Volunteer opportunities range from office work, to land and property maintenance and stewardship, to creating a photographic record of our preserves.

The dedication of is the culmination of years of effort by the MLT, Haddam Neck Spirit, the state of Connecticut, the town of Haddam and local supporters who made this purchase possible. Immediately following the dedication, enjoy refreshments and then a guided hike through the property and adjacent conservation lands. The trail will cross field and forest and wind down to a small stream and continue into the Pine Brook valley. The Kruger Farm Preserve is an important addition to hundreds of acres of preserved land in the Salmon Riverand Pine Brook watersheds.
